Reuben Kaye: Journey to the Centre of Attention
Thursday 25 to Saturday 27 July, late night slot
In an explosion of energy, high camp, big notes and filthy humour; the multi-award winning Reuben Kaye comes to the Above The Stag Theatre for a strictly limited late night run of his outrageous cabaret show. A delicious mix of Tim Curry, Liza Minnelli and a lot of sequins.
The Good Scout
Friday 26 and Saturday 27 July
This is a preview of the new Edinburgh show from writer and Above The Stag favourite, Glenn Chandler. Inspired by the amazing true story from the 1930s, when Lord Baden-Powell and Joachim von Ribbentrop, Hitler’s London ambassador, instigated exchange visits
between British boy scouts and Hitler Youth. As war looms, a heart-wrenching, darkly humorous drama about espionage, a scout’s honour and forbidden love unfolds.
