Drag Graduation at the RVT

For the past ten weeks the brilliant Michael Twaits has been hosting the Art of Drag course at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern and this Wednesday (29 Mar) you can see the results for yourself. The one-off Graduation Showcase will feature 12 new drag acts and what they’ve achieved following weeks of hard work. Michael told us “We’ve got 12 amazing acts showing the full diversity of what drag can be: kings, queens, gender-fuck, even a drag dog. Plus poetry, lip-sync, comedy, singing and more. They’ve been working for ten weeks with some top talent such as Meth, Myra DuBois, Lolo Brow, Joe Black, Cosmic and myself. Cancer Is A Drag at the Slug and Lettuce

On Monday 3 April from 7pm there’s going to be a massive drag queen extravaganza fundraiser for Cancer Is A Drag at the Slug and Lettuce on Leicester Square. Hosted by the one and only Rose Garden, this evening of cabaret will also feature Marsha Mallow, Chamonix Aspen, Miss Terry Tour, Diane Horran Hill, Krystal Ball and loads more.

Love Happens at Pride

The team at Pride In London have confirmed that the theme for this year’s event, on Saturday 8 July, will be Love Happens Here. Pride In London wants you to share your stories of love to show the world that London is open, welcoming and inclusive, and that Love Happens Here. You can submit your stories using the Google form via or by sharing pictures and stories on Twitter and Instagram using #LoveHappensHere.
